Why Cooking Programs?
School-based cooking programs give children the opportunity to engage with fresh fruits and vegetables in a hands-on way—learning to slice, dice, and transform ingredients into healthy and delicious food. When kids experience the joy of creating their own tasty (and nutritious!) treats, they carry this knowledge with them, making healthier food choices across their lifetime.

Sprouts believes in the power of hands-on cooking programs to advance children’s nutrition education and to help bring classroom lessons to life.
